My Story
Despite a life threatening road traffic collision in mid 2022, Tom successfully got married mere weeks later and has been recovering slowly but surely. He’s an invaluable contributor to NeXT and will return with a vengeance – when the road turns up, watch out for Tom!
How you discovered Zwift
Like many of us, the start of the pandemic was my introduction to virtual racing where, in the summer of 2020 he gravitated towards the TTTs in the WTRL premier league racing with his friends for the “Plastic Cockneys.”
Real life athletics background
I’ve done relatively little IRL racing. In one season of serious racing road and hill climbs here in the UK, I’ve won a number of Open Hill Climbs and been successful hunting Strava KOMs throughout IRL Surrey and Kent Hills. When not racing Zwift, you can find me smashing the weekend group rides with my mates.
